Il Cinema Ritrovato on Tour presents a curated version of the Cineteca di Bologna’s annual archival film festival, Il Cinema Ritrovato, which takes place every summer in Bologna, Italy. Archives on Screen partners with the Cineteca to bring a smaller version of their festival to the Twin Cities every year.

Il Cinema Ritrovato on Tour returns for a third year to the Main Cinema in Minneapolis, MN, and runs from February 14–16. This year’s selections focus on feminist, documentary, and anti-colonial cinema.

Our second edition of Il Cinema Ritrovato on Tour took place at the Main Cinema (Minneapolis, MN) and the Heights Theater (Columbia Heights, MN) from February 15 to 18, 2024. We screened eleven films from Il Cinema Ritrovato 2023.
